The Role

We're looking for a Fleet Engineering Operations Manager to join our team. As part of our fleet operations team, you will work with a capable and motivated group to provide safe, sustainable and customer-focused fleet related services and compliant end-to-end strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Fleet Engineering team, including mentoring, priority planning and staff development.
  • Establish and maintain fit-for-purpose, safe, cost-effective and compliant fleet standards.
  • Develop and manage Capex budget plans, monitor performance and provide analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee project management, design and engineering activities, ensuring compliance with HVNL regulations.
  • Establish supplier arrangements and oversee vehicle and plant procurement, as well as disposal and replacement processes.
  • Maintain effective procedures, reporting models and performance monitoring of external providers.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and support the delivery of the overall fleet plan within budget.

Required Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as mechanical or business studies.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar professional role within the energy, electrical, transport, utilities or manufacturing industries.
  • Desirable - knowledge of SAP required for reporting critical fleet data.

A vehicle licence up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM) is required for this position.
