We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our fleet engineering operations.

As the Fleet Engineering Operations Manager, you will provide strategic direction and oversight of our fleet-related services, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and customer-focused. You will establish fit-for-purpose fleet standards, develop Capex budget plans, and oversee project management and engineering activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring and developing team members within the Fleet Engineering team.
  • Establishing and maintaining cost-effective and compliant fleet standards.
  • Developing and managing Capex budget plans, monitoring performance, and providing analysis and reporting.
  • Overseeing project management, design, and engineering activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Establishing supplier arrangements and overseeing vehicle and plant procurement, disposal, and replacement processes.
  • Maintaining effective procedures, reporting models, and performance monitoring of external providers.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders to support the delivery of the overall fleet plan.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as mechanical or business, and a C Vehicle licence up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM). The ideal candidate will have specialised professional experience in a similar role within the energy, electrical, transport, utilities, or manufacturing industry.
