Senior Claims Advocate Job Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work on complex, high-profile claims within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing detailed coverage analysis and advice on financial lines claims, including construction, claim characterisation, interpretation, and exclusions.
  • Conducting urgent reviews and developing tailored claim strategies for sensitive or litigated matters.
  • Engaging with brokers, clients, legal counsel, and insurers to coordinate claim responses and mitigate losses.
  • Maximising client coverage outcomes through comprehensive analysis of all relevant coverages.
  • Mentoring internal claims staff on legal and coverage complexities.
Requirements

For this position, we are looking for candidates with:

  • A legal degree with 5+ years PQE, preferably with experience in private practice.
  • Proven technical expertise in managing complex financial lines insurance claims.
  • Ability to independently manage high-value, complex claims while maintaining high-quality customer service.
  • Strong understanding of insurance policy construction, exclusions, and legal considerations in claims management.
