About the Role

The purpose of this position is to provide professional counselling, support and specialist group programs to individuals, couples, children, and families through collaborative practices that are trauma-informed, evidence-based and psycho-educational.

As a Senior Counsellor, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides high-quality client-centred counselling and supervision, meeting the needs of our employees, clients and families.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be an experienced Senior Counsellor with a genuine passion for working within the community.
  • You will have tertiary qualifications in relevant human services, such as psychology or counselling, and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • You will be clinically registered and have demonstrated experience and skills in counselling, group work, leadership and working with diverse stakeholders.
  • You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be willing to undergo a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
