Job Role Summary

The HR Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that all human resource functions on the project site are aligned with project objectives, relevant labor laws, and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional advice and support to employees on-site regarding HR-related matters.
  • Coordinate industrial risk mitigation and emergency responses to workplace incidents with the HSE and IR teams.
  • Create a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and addressing workplace issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, prepare reports on staffing, attendance, and other HR metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian labor laws and company policies through ongoing training and updates.
  • Develop and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives to support employee development and well-being.
  • Support and manage work-related injuries and incidents, maintaining proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety team to ensure HR policies align with on-site safety protocols.
  • Oversee counseling, discipline, probation, return-to-work programs, and maintain accurate HR records.
