Job Title

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of design verification and validation.

  • Lead a skilled team that upholds our position as a leader in implantable hearing solutions.
  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to leverage internal and external resources, providing efficient and effective verification and validation services aligned with our R&D strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and allocate resources effectively across the organization.
  • Drive the development of the verification and validation discipline, fostering process improvements and automation. You will empower your team to utilize effective tools and adhere to established processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and lead the decision-making process, identifying opportunities to introduce cutting-edge technologies, foster product innovation, and drive development initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification design and development experience.
  • Good understanding of product design and verification and validation, as well as demonstrated experience leading verification and validation departments.
  • Experience with simultaneously managing an internal engineering or verification team and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, select, and manage external partners resulting in increased business performance and continual improvement over time, and to take action when required.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple internal and external stakeholders who may have divergent interests, to achieve a solution that satisfies all and is optimal for the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, lead, and manage a technical team to develop team capability and deliver the required business outcomes while achieving positive stakeholder feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, prioritize, develop, and execute engineering and process improvement activities and achieve great outcomes and positive team morale.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
