Our client is a federal government organisation with offices throughout Australia. Due to growth, they are seeking an EL2 Solution Architect to join their team in a Richmond or Geelong office. This will be a 12-month initial contract with further 12-month extensions, 7.5 hour day, with a hybrid work arrangement.
The role:
The EL2 Solution Architect is accountable under broad direction to undertake work with a high level of complexity and/or sensitivity that delivers quality outcomes across the ICT support service functions of the client. This position will support projects across 1 or more of the following capabilities:
- Identity and Access Management.
- Data Storage and Analytics Solutions.
- Payment and Debt Management Systems.
- Fraud and Case Management.
The EL2 Solution Architect will work with a project team and other SMEs to ensure that the architecture supports the 'Crack Down on Fraud' program of work and meets the business requirements of the program. The position is an important, senior Architectural position within the client. The EL2 Solution Architect will provide architecture design and advice across one or more of the above-mentioned capabilities.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to meet the following essential criteria:
- Minimum of five years' experience with Government Organisations working as a solution architect.
- Understanding of governance concepts with a focus on ICT, policy/standards development, documentation of frameworks, and assisting in the reporting to Senior Executive.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to undertake stakeholder engagement across internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability in one of the mentioned areas.
