Medical Imaging Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical imaging services, providing leadership and supervision to clinical staff, and contributing to quality improvement and research activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing professional leadership and supervision to clinical staff and radiology trainees.
- Participating in quality improvement and quality assurance activities to ensure safe, effective, and efficient patient-centred care processes.
- Representing the department at campus meetings and liaising with clinicians regarding service provision.
- Supporting and encouraging team cooperation amongst staff to optimise the level and diagnostic accuracy of the service provided.
The ideal candidate will have specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia as either a Radiologist or an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with Certification in Obstetrical and Gynaecological Ultrasound (COGU) from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or equivalent.
They will also possess strong communication, problem-solving, and supervisory abilities, as well as experience in clinical governance, quality improvement, and a commitment to research and continuing professional education.
