Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Fitters to join our team in NSW. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

This is a fulltime position available with a competitive salary package. You will be working in a safe environment, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and complying with Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) legislation.

If you have excellent technical background experience, good verbal and written communication skills, and a warm personality, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Perform repairs and services on diesel and petrol engines, fuel systems, steering systems, transmissions, brake systems, hydraulic valves and cylinders, electrical starting, charging and accessories.
  • Liaise with spare parts team to determine parts required for repairs.
  • Complete repair and services within reasonable time frames.
  • Process workshop service/repair documentation on a daily basis.
  • Work in a safe manner and comply with OS&H legislation.
