Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform Specialist

As a SharePoint and Power Platform Consultant, your role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop impactful business solutions. Partnering with the National IT team, you will interpret functional specifications provided by business analysts to craft tailored solutions for our internal clients. These solutions will be versatile and may incorporate various Microsoft Power Platform functionalities, including SharePoint and Power Apps.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather and assess business requirements, design solutions, and implement SharePoint and Power Platform applications.
- Develop and deploy applications on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, encompassing SharePoint, MS Teams, and Power Platform.
- Demonstrate expertise in creating SharePoint Online Collaboration and Team site solutions utilizing SharePoint Framework and .NET technologies.
- Facilitate the migration of SharePoint On-Premises (2019 version) sites to SharePoint Online.
- Strategize and execute SharePoint migration initiatives, transferring data from legacy systems (including earlier SharePoint versions) to SharePoint Online.
- Configure and personalize Power Platform environments, managing data sources, security protocols, and user roles.
- Implement governance for M365, including the establishment of provisioning frameworks and the Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE).
- Design and execute innovative solutions leveraging the latest features and capabilities within Microsoft 365.
- Create comprehensive project documentation (functional designs, solution designs, as-built documentation).
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for diverse audiences.
- Facilitate effective workshops and deliver presentations to clients.
- Act as a point of escalation for all IT support teams.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for support issues.
- Be prepared to work outside of standard hours when necessary.
- Travel to various RSM locations as required.
Essential: Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or Business.
Demonstrated Experience & Attributes:Essential:
- 2-5 years of experience in a software or data engineering capacity.
- Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer Associate.
- Proficiency with Web APIs (REST, SOAP).
- Strong SQL capabilities.
- Experience with Azure Cloud services (Data Factory).
- Ability to perform under pressure during tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering effective working relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Awareness of trends and advancements in IT.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
