SharePoint and Power Platform Solutions Expert

As a SharePoint and Power Platform Solutions Expert at RSM, you will be working closely with our internal clients to design and implement innovative business solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with our National IT team to create solutions that meet the needs of our clients, leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform, including SharePoint and Power Apps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and analyze business requirements to develop effective SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
  • Design and implement dynamic solutions that integrate multiple Microsoft Power Platform functions, including SharePoint and Power Apps.
  • Develop and deploy applications on the Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint, MS Teams, and Power Platform.
  • Migrate SharePoint On-Premises sites to SharePoint Online, ensuring seamless data transfer and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Configure and customize Power Platform environments, including data sources, security, and roles, to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Implement M365 governance, including provisioning frameworks and Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE), to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Design and implement cutting-edge solutions that leverage the latest features and functionality in Microsoft 365.
  • Produce high-quality project documentation, including functional designs, solution designs, and as-built documentation.
  • Develop training materials and deliver training to various audiences, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and adoption.
  • Run effective workshops and deliver presentations to our clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Act as a point of escalation for all IT support teams, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure site SLAs are met for support issues, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer-centricity.
  • Be flexible and willing to work outside normal hours as needed, and travel to other RSM offices as required.

Education Requirements:

Essential

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or Business.

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes:

Essential

  • 2-5 years of experience in a software or data engineering role.
  • Microsoft certified Power Platform Developer Associate.
  • Proficiency in Web APIs (REST, SOAP), SQL, and Azure Cloud (Data Factory).
  • Ability to work under pressure in short periods of time, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clear and concise communication.
  • Knowledge and understanding of trends and developments in IT, with a willingness to adapt and evolve.
