Senior Health and Safety Advisor for Water Infrastructure Projects

As a senior health and safety advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering safer outcomes across critical water infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include championing and advocating health and safety policies and safe work behaviour programs across all active projects.
Key to your success will be building strong working relationships with delivery teams and contractors to support a positive health and safety culture. You will provide health and safety support across a portfolio of high-risk infrastructure projects involving major plant, structures, deep excavation, temporary works, and working near water or at heights.
You will evaluate site activities and advise on health and safety governance and assurance, including hazard identification, incident management, and risk mitigation. Additionally, you will participate in risk reviews, site leadership visits, and other assurance activities in collaboration with SA Water and KBR teams.
Another important aspect of this role is supporting incident investigations and continuous improvement of health and safety systems. You will also contribute to health and safety reporting and data insights that support decision-making and health and safety performance tracking.
