Job Title: Water Resources Infrastructure Strategist
About the Role:
This position involves developing and delivering long-term stormwater and water quality infrastructure planning strategies, policies, and forward works projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rainfall, flow, and flood assessments using modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, TUFLOW).
- Develop and deliver long-term stormwater and water quality infrastructure planning strategies.
- Design hydraulic and other water management structures for mine sites.
- Support and assist in developing existing Mine Water group capability in mine water management.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a diverse water resources background, experience in flood studies and hydrology modeling, and skills in technical writing and proposal writing. You should also hold a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Civil or Environmental, and have experience working in a consulting environment on mining projects.
