Key Agronomy Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished agronomist to join our team in Perth. As an expert specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, sales and trials support to valued customers and suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Bid strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new opportunities and developing business.
  • Oversee trials and research projects, informing customers and suppliers.
  • Prepare trial findings and reports.
  • Implement growing trials by following designed protocols, including setup, seeding, spraying and harvesting.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data on crop performance and environmental conditions.
  • Maintain safety and compliance processes.
  • Ensure a safe, clean and professional work environment.

About the Role:

To excel as our agronomist, you will have:

  • A proven track record in sales and some experience working in a retail environment.
  • An understanding of agricultural services and products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Practical organisational and problem-solving experience.
  • A working knowledge of agricultural products and practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous agronomy and research experience.
  • A relevant agricultural degree qualification.
  • A license to operate heavy machinery.
