Asset Management Leadership Role

The Asset and Engineering Manager is a pivotal leadership position that oversees the strategic management of assets to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance.

About the Job
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing asset team to deliver technical support, expert advice, and strategic guidance across operations, maintenance, and plant improvement initiatives.
  • Asset Strategy Development: Provide in-depth strategic advice to senior leadership teams on long-term asset management strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Project Oversight: Manage major maintenance projects, capital expenditures, and planned outages to minimize downtime and optimize asset utilization.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering or related field, with post-graduate qualifications in Management or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects and managing cross-functional teams in a heavy industry environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in asset management, with a focus on risk management, cost control, and regulatory compliance.
