Our underground training team is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Underground Trainer.

Job Description

As an Underground Trainer, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing training needs for our underground mining operators. This includes developing plans to enhance required competencies and coordinating training sessions to ensure effective delivery.

You will also analyze mobile equipment performance data to identify operator capability and performance variability. Additionally, you will facilitate training plans for existing operators to maintain skills and address identified gaps.

Your primary objective will be to provide high-quality training that enhances the skills and knowledge of our underground mining operators, ultimately contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify training needs for underground mining operators and develop plans to address required competencies
  • Coordinate training for new employees and ensure effective delivery
  • Analyze mobile equipment performance data to identify and address operator capability and performance variability
  • Facilitate training plans for existing operators to maintain skills and address identified skills gaps
Requirements
  • Extensive experience working in underground mining (5+ years)
  • Cert IV in Training
  • Current and valid Australian Manual Drivers license
  • All relevant qualifications, certificates, and licenses (RPL's)
