Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead offshore power cable projects in the Australian area.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical input and expertise in key areas, including document preparation, scopes of work, and installation department outcomes.

  • Act as a technical interface with clients for document preparation
  • Provide technical input for scopes of work within projects
  • Report on installation department outcomes of meetings and technical discussions
  • Evaluate and analyze technical and contractual information
  • Develop and implement technical design solutions against client scopes of work
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Developing technical procedures for installing cables in offshore marine environments
  • Ensuring engineering technical solutions are best-in-class, effective, and safe
  • Collaborating with subcontractors, clients, and authorities to address comments on installation documentation
  • Preparing method statements for various activities, including cable burial risk assessments, route engineering, and survey works
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Autocad software experience
  • Proficiency in Italian and English
  • A degree in Engineering Technology or related field (advantageous)
  • Excellent word processing skills

Remote work is possible with face-to-face meetings required approximately once per week in Melbourne. Site visits may be requested.
