Job Description

The role of a Care Worker is to provide home help services to our aged care clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and wellbeing. This involves assisting with general housekeeping, personal care, and social support.

As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care that meets the individual needs of each client. This includes preparing meals, doing laundry, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals.

You will also be required to work collaboratively with the client's family carer, providing them with breaks and opportunities to pursue other activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar professional role with at least 3 months of experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence and a roadworthy vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
