Part-Time Adult/Mental Health Care Professional

We are seeking an experienced Adult/Mental Health Nurse to join our care team on a part-time basis.
The role is challenging at times, but it offers opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
Main Responsibilities- You will be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive optimum care through effective communication and leadership.
- You will manage medication rounds using electronic systems, stock management, CD checks, and escalate any medication changes or concerns to pharmacy teams/home management teams.
- Awareness of wound management, venepuncture, stoma care, end-of-life care, IV medications, and daily documentation of actions and communications on our e-plan are essential skills for this role.
- Producing care plans for residents that reflect their needs and wishes is crucial, especially for those with advanced dementia and mental health diagnoses.
- Must be a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and no restrictions to work.
- Basic IT skills are required for electronic care planning and medication systems, with training provided.
- Ability to assess care needs, produce care plans, and use clinical skills in areas such as wound management, catheter care, venipuncture, and suctioning.
- Experience working with individuals with dementia and mental health diagnoses would be beneficial.
