Transforming Rail Infrastructure with Digital Engineering

Job Description:

As a BIM and CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in shaping the digital delivery strategy for one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects. The Cross River Rail project is a 10.2km rail line featuring 5.9km of twin tunnels under the Brisbane River and CBD, including four new underground stations, two above-ground stations, and accessibility rebuilds for six stations.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a once-in-a-lifetime project that will transform the way we travel to, from, and through Brisbane in the future. You will join a collaborative team responsible for providing support for the coordination and operation of federated BIM models and CAD datasets.

The ideal candidate will possess industry-relevant experience or higher education in BIM, Digital Engineering, or CAD Systems, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a BIM or CAD technical delivery role. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders are essential, as well as excellent time management skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Industry-relevant experience or higher education in BIM, Digital Engineering, or CAD Systems
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a BIM or CAD technical delivery role
  • Solid working knowledge of industry standards, such as PAS1192, ISO19650
  • Experience in collecting, structuring, and analyzing BIM data
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
