Release Operations Manager

About the Role

As a Release Operations Manager, you will oversee team resourcing and delivery of specified services, roster/shift management, and workforce planning to ensure day-to-day effectiveness of service provision and meeting targets.

About You

You will bring a deep understanding of IT Service Management frameworks, expertise in Release Management processes and tools, and proficiency in overseeing complex release practices, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to obtain and hold an Australian Government Clearance
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of Release Process professionals
  • Deep understanding of IT Service Management frameworks and expertise in Release Management processes and tools
  • Proficiency in overseeing complex release practices, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Ability to make informed decisions quickly and confidently, considering both short-term needs and long-term implications within the SIAM ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience in managing organisational change associated with implementing new release processes, tools, or technologies
