Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the release schedule, balancing technical dependencies, business requirements, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience managing risks and interdependencies associated with releases and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate releases into key environments in consultation with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with developers to understand impacts of code merges.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews and quality assurance checks.
  • Ensure stability of the platform post release and manage post-incident reviews, including any applicable documentation.
  • Uplift the quality of releases, alongside technical and test leads.

Requirements

  • 5+ years demonstrated release management experience in a complex technical environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and have the drive to continually improve and optimise release processes.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams up to task completion.
  • Organisational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working within an Agile delivery environment.
  • High level of proficiency with Azure DevOps, Pipelines and other DevOps tools.
  • Working knowledge of the SDLC, DevOps and CI/CD, with proven experience of release management tools.
