Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Tyre Technician to join our team.

  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment and tyres on various vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections, including tread depth measurements and pressure readings, on heavy earthmoving equipment.
  • Participate in effective shift changeovers and pre-starts to ensure seamless operations.
  • Complete detailed written handovers at the end of each shift to maintain continuity.
  • Pursue opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to a culture of excellence.
  • Report any site hazards or incidents to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Minimise production downtime by implementing effective shift planning techniques.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong focus on maintaining high safety standards.
  • A minimum of one year's experience in tyre fitting in the mining industry.
  • Certification in wheel assembly removal and fitting (RIISAM210A) or equivalent.
  • Experience in tyre maintenance systems and certification in heavy vehicle tyre fitting (Cert 2).
  • Operational experience with forklifts (RIIHAN201A).
