">Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant and equipment.">
- Use your mechanical skills and trade qualifications to diagnose and repair complex problems.">
- Lead, mentor, and share your knowledge with apprentices and other team members.">
- Work closely with contract teams when needed to ensure smooth operations.">
- Develop and conduct task-based risk assessments to keep safety at the forefront.">
- Manage work orders in our WMS system from start to finish.">
- Apply for and receive Permits to Work – you'll hold the necessary certifications for this.">
- Lead small teams as needed and guide them through day-to-day tasks.">
- Acknowledge plant conditions, recommend improvements, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency.">
- Help review and improve our maintenance processes to ensure they're always running at their best.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">• A qualified Mechanical Fitter and have had the opportunity to hone your skills in real-world settings since completing your apprenticeship and obtaining your trade certificate.
">• In-depth knowledge of modern power stations or other heavy industry and have an interest in working with large process plant.
">• Analytical problem-solving skills and ensure precision and accuracy in everything you do.
">• Excellent communication skills and thrive in high-pressure environments, delivering top-notch results efficiently and on time.
">• A commitment to both process and personal safety, ensuring that all activities meet the highest standards and compliance requirements.
