About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Administrative Assistant, providing administrative support to our Service Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous reception and administrative support to residents, families, and staff.
- Facilitate communication with residents and/or their families and staff in relation to office administration requirements.
- Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day activities of the office, ensuring administrative, clerical, and reception services are provided to residents, visitors, and staff.
- Provide timely and effective support to managers.
- Maintain efficient and effective document and data storage.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Roster Management and Finance Management.
- High level of interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- High attention to detail and previous knowledge of roster planning.
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Experience in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential).
- A sense of empathy and compassion for elderly residents and their families.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality around client data records.
