Job Description

We are seeking experienced individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes. Our team provides a range of tailored care services to assist people living independently at home. We have a comprehensive portfolio of care services, including aged and disability care, transitional care, hospital in the home, and palliative care.

As an Aged Care Support Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting with domestic tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Transporting clients to appointments and other activities
  • Prompting medication
  • Supporting clients with daily living activities

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as an Aged Care Support Worker, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • A satisfactory Australian National Police check
  • A current first aid and CPR certificate
  • A driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance

Preferred skills include experience in aged care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

This is a casual position, ideally suited to an applicant looking for 10-25 hours per week with room for growth to part-time. Alternating shifts and willingness to travel between Maryborough and Hervey Bay are required.
