About the Role

The Women In Automotive Mentor will provide mentoring support and guidance to female Australian Apprentices in the Automotive and associated industries. This role aims to improve commencement, retention, and completion rates of female Australian Apprentices in the Automotive Industry.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have experience working within the Automotive Industry. A qualification or current study in social work, counselling, or psychology is essential. In the absence of suitable qualifications, a willingness to undertake a Diploma of Counselling or similar within the first year of employment is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mentoring support and guidance to female Australian Apprentices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve sustained success
- Develop strong relationships with employers, employees, and relevant stakeholders
