An exciting full-time role has become available for an Assistant Parts Manager to join the fast-paced Parts and Warehouse Team at Penske Transportation Solutions. Located at our Wacol Branch, you will work closely with the Parts Manager, motivating and mentoring a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the Parts and Warehouse team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Promote safety awareness and advocate for a safe working environment.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and engagement within business operations.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Manager to develop and implement operating plans that drive financial and operational success.
  • Ensure the team consistently exceeds customer expectations.
  • Manage the Warehouse and large-scale inventory function effectively.

About You:

  • Leadership experience in an automotive environment is essential.
  • You should have a proven track record of managing, developing, and motivating teams to achieve their best.
  • A customer-focused approach with excellent teamwork skills is required.
  • You must be able to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers, representing the Penske brand professionally.
  • We are looking for a high-energy individual who can maintain a high output while demonstrating resilience.
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills are necessary to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills and the ability to learn internal software systems are required.
  • You should have a solid understanding of automotive, inventory, and financial reports.

What We Offer:
