AWM Electrical is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maintaining excellent supplier relationships.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage the procurement process, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials at competitive prices
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Monitor inventory levels and plan for restocking to avoid shortages
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers
  • Analyse market trends and supplier performance for continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations
