Job DescriptionThe Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS) is committed to increasing employment opportunities and workforce representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The purpose of this role is to increase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce representation across all streams and levels throughout CHQ and the state-wide health system more broadly.
- To identify suitable applicants for current and future temporary employment opportunities in various occupational areas.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
You will be required to provide documentation verifying your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent as per Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
- Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; or
- Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; or
- Be accepted as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community in which you live.
A written assertion or documentary evidence attesting to your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent may be requested.
