Job Title: Commercial Retail Recovery Specialist

Join Scentre Group, the owner of 42 Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand, as a Commercial Retail Recovery Specialist. In this role, you will be part of the Commercial Retail admin team, which plays a crucial role in improving efficiency and maximizing commercial returns for retailer disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely administrative and account information to aid in the legal recovery process.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive timely and commercially maximized outcomes to legal disputes.
  • Gather information, review source documents, and summarize matters.
  • Run account reconciliations and accurately calculate claims.
  • Assist in recommending commercial next steps in the legal recovery process.
  • Prepare and submit bad debt write-off approvals and other relevant cases.
  • Maintain up-to-date and relevant notes in systems to keep stakeholders informed of progress and likelihood of recovery.
  • Review and respond to internal and external queries within agreed timeframes.
Requirements:
  • Business experience in debt collection, property management, or with a national retailer.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and balance different stakeholder demands.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across geographically diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and tertiary qualified (or in progress) in Law, Business, Property, or Accounting.
