We are seeking a highly skilled professional to collaborate with distinguished scientists on cutting-edge research in quantum biotechnology at the University of Technology Sydney.
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will be based at the UTS Node and contribute to shaping the future of biomedical imaging and clean energy.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will develop nanoscale opto-electrodes for the modulation of neuronal and cardiomyocyte activities.
This role offers an opportunity to undertake original research and contribute to seeking research funding from external sources.
Requirements- A PhD in chemistry, bio-chemistry, material physics, particularly in opto-electronics and nanotechnology is required.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Extensive knowledge and skills in organic and inorganic synthesis of hybrid nanoparticles and optical characterization of single nanoparticle spectroscopy are necessary.
A full-time position available on a 24-month fixed-term basis.
