Program Director

Working closely with students, community members and schools is an integral part of this role. To drive positive change in school attendance and performance, career pathways and cultural identity.

  1. Deliver programs in schools encompassing planning, coordination and implementation.
  2. Build meaningful relationships with students, community members and schools.
  3. Support the personal growth of First Nation students aged 12-18 through workshops, in-class tutoring and outside class assistance.
  4. Organize activities such as cooking, creative arts, leadership, CV creation, goal setting and job-ready skills to enhance Life Skills and School Engagement.
  5. Plan physical education activities including Traditional Indigenous Games.
  6. Arrange after-school and weekend activities and excursions.
  7. Cultivate opportunities for cultural exchange between the community, NASCA and schools.
  8. Create Personalized Learning Pathway Plans tailored for NASCA students.
