Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at RAAF Base East Sale. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a high volume of meals served daily, providing an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to showcase their expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the efficient preparation and delivery of meal services to meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Operate large-volume commercial cooking equipment with precision and safety.
  • Train food production personnel in Ventia's procedures and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Commercial Cookery Certificate III or above.
  • Previous experience in a large commercial kitchen, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation, and statutory obligations.
  • Strong planning and organization skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
