Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking Support Workers with a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

About the Role:

  • Provide support within Supported Independent Living homes, assisting people with disabilities to live as independently as possible.
  • Support clients who require sensitive manners and understanding complex behaviors.
  • You will be empathetic and have strong interpersonal skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • The capacity to meet physical requirements, as some manual handling tasks may be involved.
  • Holding or obtaining relevant certifications and clearances.
