Amentum is seeking a Logistics and Transportation Manager to support a US Government contract in a remote location. This position supports efforts to be performed by Amentum, including facilities construction, operation, and maintenance, as well as support services. The contract supports project task order efforts varying in complexity, from minor to major system upgrades, renovations, and new construction. The priority is to implement and maintain a successful operation and maintenance program to provide life, health, and safety for site personnel, while ensuring continuous operations of the site infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage logistics operations in a remote and austere environment.
  • Oversee transportation operations, including procurement and asset management.
  • Implement process improvement models to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Current active U.S government clearance – TS/SCI with polygraph.
  • Minimum of five years' experience managing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Minimum of two consecutive years of supervisory experience in logistics operations or transportation operations.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvement models.
  • Demonstrated experience in warehousing, managing procurement programs, asset management, and transportation areas.
