Rigging Operations Manager

Lead a team to deliver structural and mechanical works on the Blast Furnace 6 Reline Project at Port Kembla Steelworks.
The role involves coordinating rigging activities, managing inspections and equipment, collaborating with other supervisors, and providing training to rigging teams.
- Plan and coordinate rigging activities across steel erection and project works
- Manage rigging inspections, registers, and site-wide lifting gear
- Collaborate with other supervisors to achieve key rigging outcomes
- Develop and review Work Method Statements and Job Safety Analyses
- Supervise mechanical, structural, and project works
- Provide training and Verification of Competency for rigging teams
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for lifting equipment maintenance
- Audit rigging gear condition, storage, and spares
Requirements:
This is an opportunity for a highly experienced Rigging Supervisor with advanced certification, extensive experience in structural and mechanical projects, strong knowledge of structural drawings, and proven leadership skills.
