Job Title: Senior Rigging Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Rigging Operations Manager to lead our lift operations and drive project success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising rigging activities across steel erection and project works, including managing inspections, registers, and site-wide lifting gear.

In addition, you will collaborate with other supervisors to achieve key rigging outcomes, develop and review Work Method Statements and Job Safety Analyses, supervise mechanical, structural, and project works, and provide training and Verification of Competency for rigging teams.

You will also liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for lifting equipment maintenance, audit rigging gear condition, storage, and spares, and contribute to the development of rigging procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise rigging activities
  • Manage inspections, registers, and site-wide lifting gear
  • Develop and review Work Method Statements and Job Safety Analyses
  • Supervise mechanical, structural, and project works
  • Provide training and Verification of Competency for rigging teams
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Rigging Certification
  • Certificate III in Frontline Supervision
  • Experience in instructural and mechanical projects with heavy lift expertise
  • Strong understanding of structural drawings and complex rigging scenarios
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and support rigging teams
