We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Retail Client Services Team as a Financial Services Administrator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the growth of our business.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of financial services and be involved in meaningful work across the business that will challenge you and enrich your career path. As a Financial Services Administrator, you will be responsible for processing applications, maturities, and withdrawals for clients within set Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills and contribute to process improvements.

The ideal candidate must be flexible and adaptable to change and committed to continuous learning and professional development. A strong desire to support the extended team to meet customer servicing needs and proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth and development are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process client applications, maturities, and withdrawals within agreed SLAs
  • Vet incorrect forms and requests, following up via email and outgoing phone calls to investors and financial advisers
  • Escalate priority issues with leaders for swift resolution
  • Attend relevant training and meetings, demonstrating constructive participation in collaborative settings
  • Leverage creativity to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Making responsible decisions within limits of authority to resolve minor difficulties and devise solutions to unique problems

Requirements:
  • Degree in finance or related field
  • 12 months customer service experience (not limited to financial services)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with retirement and managed investment products in the Australian market
