Regional Express Flight Attendant Role

We are seeking experienced and customer-focused individuals to join our team as flight attendants on board our Saab 340 aircraft.

Our flight attendants play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight. They are responsible for managing the cabin, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a high level of personal presentation. Experience in customer service is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire cabin independently to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.
  • Provide a caring and personalized service to passengers while traveling to unique Australian destinations.
  • Ensure that all in-flight services are delivered to the highest standard, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.

The role offers a great work-life balance along with competitive remuneration including working on weekends, public holidays, shift work, and some nights spent away from home. Duties include equipment/security checks, in-flight announcements, food and beverage service, cleaning duties, and handling situations that may occur in the cabin.

Requirements:
  • Age 18 or over.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • No taller than 173 cm.
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
  • Demonstrate at least one of the following:
    • Completed 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand.
    • Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
    • Worked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
    • Completed IELTS with an overall grade of 5.5.
  • Hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) involving a police security check.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Ability to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device.
  • Flexibility including working during holiday times and peak periods.
  • High level of personal presentation.
  • Natural willingness to please and care for people.

Extensive training will be provided; flying experience is not required.
