Flight Attendant/Cabin Crew

We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill a full-time solo flight attendant position based in Cairns.

As a solo Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight. You will also have the opportunity to provide a personalized service while traveling to some of Australia's most unique destinations.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless flights and maintain a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.

In this rewarding position, every day is different coupled with a great team spirit. You will perform various duties including equipment checks, in-flight announcements, in-flight food & beverage service, cleaning duties, and handling situations that may occur in the cabin.

Requirements:
  • Be 18 years of age or over
  • Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Be no taller than 173 cm
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • Be able to demonstrate that you have:
    • Completed a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or
    • Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
    • Worked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
    • Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.
  • Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security check
  • Have experience in customer service
  • Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (a swim assessment is required)
  • Be flexible; working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods
  • Have a high level of personal presentation
  • Have a natural willingness to please and care for people
