About the Role

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia is a leading audiovisual archive that collects, preserves and shares cultural experiences.

We are rebuilding our curatorial workforce to preserve our collection for the future and make it discoverable by all Australians.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conceive and implement publicity campaigns to promote public programs and events at the heritage Acton HQ.
  • Coordinate media activities, including interviews, filming and photoshoots, and respond to press enquiries.
  • Lead network marketing engagement to promote events with target communities and represent the NFSA in pan-agency cultural outreach.
  • Assist with national communications projects to engage audiences with digital platforms.
  • Collaborate on integrated external and internal Communications strategies and Corporate storytelling frameworks.
  • Develop and deploy internal communications tools using various platforms.

This role requires a self-starter who can take on tasks of varying complexity and work across multiple projects simultaneously.
