About the Role

Longridge Group is a leading residential housing brand that offers quality, design-driven homes to discerning buyers across multiple niche segments in the South Australian market.

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and contribute to the success of our business. As an Estimator with Longridge Group, you will play a pivotal role in executing end-to-end estimating activities for the company.

This hands-on role involves working closely with senior management to deliver technical accuracy and high-quality commercial results. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders and demonstrating exceptional written communication skills.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have sound commercial skills, a deep understanding of home building processes and quality control measures, as well as a proven track record in estimating and technical experience within the building industry.

A focus on delivering outstanding results and a passion for achieving the best building outcomes possible for all parties are essential qualities for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute end-to-end estimating activities for the business
  • Work closely with senior management to deliver technical accuracy and high-quality commercial results
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate exceptional written communication skills
  • Contribute to the development of the business through expertise and knowledge sharing

Requirements:

  • Proven estimating and technical experience within the building industry
  • Sound commercial skills and a deep understanding of home building processes and quality control measures
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to tailor a message to the audience
  • Timber framing code knowledge would be desirable
