Job Description

As a Mine Geologist, you will participate in the underground grade control process. You will assist with production tracking, interpret drill results, and plan and design drill programs to help define reserves.

Delivering the grade control, ore definition, ore production, material tracking and reconciliation processes to meet monthly production schedules.

Developing high quality models using conditional simulation techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary degree in Geology.
  • 2+ years in Mine Geology and comfortable with underground environments.
  • Strong sense of safety.
  • Very clear and concise communication and written skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the mining cycle.
  • Proficient in 3D software packages such as Vulcan, Leapfrog or Deswik.
  • Experienced in QAQC practices.
