
Strategic Capability Initiatives Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide high-level administration, program development, and delivery support as a member of our strategic capability team.
This role is primarily responsible for the overall coordination and delivery of key initiatives and events of our strategic capability unit, including:
- The strategic development of a pipeline of large-scale transdisciplinary impact-focused initiatives
- Funding schemes that enable diverse impact pathways
- Coordination of current and future strategic engagement activities
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative and program delivery support
- Demonstrated experience in high-level stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated understanding of program objectives and alignment of activities with overall strategy
- Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A service excellence mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality results for all stakeholders
- Demonstrated high-level analytical and problem-solving skills
About Our Team
We are responsible for developing and deploying interdisciplinary research and innovation capability through our eight Enabling Impact Platforms (EIPs).
Our team's primary goal is to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-wide programs that foster engagement and build researcher capability.
We also coordinate RMIT's Vice-Chancellor's Research Fellowship Scheme to drive strategic talent development and retention.
