Medical Front Desk Administrator

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable medical receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident, organised, and passionate about patient care.

The successful candidate will play a key role at the front desk and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Greeting patients, answering phones, and managing appointments
  • Invoicing and receipting for consultations
  • Assisting with surgical bookings (private and public hospitals)
  • Coordinating follow-up and post-operative appointments
  • Issuing accounts, collecting, and processing payments
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a medical reception or administrative role
  • Experience using Genie software or similar medical software (training will be provided)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Proactive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Flexibility and availability to step in for casual shifts at short notice
