Job Overview

Forklift Drivers are responsible for operating forklifts in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with site rules and regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid forklift license, have at least 12 months of experience, and be willing to upskill as a machine operator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading stock and storing it away correctly
  • Daily forklift pre-start checklists and maintaining the machine's line to ensure operations are not affected
  • Loading and unloading stock from pallets, including splitting packs and sorting damaged stocks
  • High attention to detail when rearranging stacks and auditing stack heights to meet quality standards
  • Accurately recording and maintaining data on relevant reports and forms
  • Manual handling of up to 20 kg and general housekeeping duties
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace
  • Be open to manual laboring around the plant as required
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal and communication skills
