Occupational Therapy Leadership Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to the growth and development of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead therapists across diverse clinical caseloads
  • Contribute to designing and implementing new graduate programs
  • Provide leadership and direction to the occupational therapy team, ensuring delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care
  • Conduct complex occupational therapy assessments, evaluations, and develop individualised care plans for children and/or adults with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, health professionals, and service providers to coordinate holistic care interventions
  • Assess and prescribe assistive technology and home modifications to support client safety and independence
  • Engage in service development, clinical governance, and process improvement initiatives guided by data and best-practice standards
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a recognised clinical leader with demonstrated supervision and mentorship experience in occupational therapy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Practiced clinical decision-maker across diverse funding systems and client presentations
  • Passionate about developing clinical teams and shaping future talent
  • Evidence-driven clinical thinker, skilled in guiding quality improvement projects and applied practice
  • Exceptional communicator with both day-to-day support and strategic service contributions
  • Sound judgement balancing innovation, business goals, values, and standards
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy, including experience as a senior clinician
  • AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience working across the lifespan
  • Significant experience within the NDIS, LSA, and DHS funding
