Geotechnical Professional Opportunity

A challenging and rewarding opportunity exists for a highly skilled geotechnical engineer to contribute to the success of our organization in Queensland, Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee geotechnical aspects of projects as part of a collaborative team, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Scope and deliver geotechnical projects or components, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Plan and supervise site investigations, including borehole drilling, in-situ testing, sampling, and monitoring.
  • Perform geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction assessment, and seismic response. Design foundations (shallow and deep), earth retaining structures, ground improvement solutions, and pavements.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, feasibility studies, design documents, and specifications.
  • Identify geotechnical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Nurture client relationships, attend meetings, and provide geotechnical advice and presentations.
  • Mentor and train junior graduate/early career geotechnical engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure all geotechnical activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, software, and methods in geotechnical engineering.
