About the Role:
The primary responsibility of this position is to assemble high-quality furniture, ensuring it meets the company's standards. This involves working with various materials and collaborating with other teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble a wide range of furniture items, including chairs, tables, and sofas.
- Provide support to tiling, metal fabrication, and cabinet making teams as needed.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Utilize basic power and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform warehouse organization and management tasks to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Assist with commercial furniture deliveries and pickups, adhering to company protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Basic competence in hand and power tools, with an emphasis on precision and safety.
- High attention to detail and workmanship, ensuring that all assembled furniture meets quality standards.
- Physical fitness, enabling the individual to perform tasks that require manual labor and stamina.
- Care in handling high-end furniture, understanding its value and the importance of presenting it in excellent condition.
- Friendly, well-mannered, and polite demeanor towards customers, providing a positive experience during interactions.
- Immunization accreditation, demonstrating compliance with health and safety regulations.
Desirable Skills:
- Forklift License, enhancing mobility and productivity within the warehouse.
